Team Nightfall: Kullez

Spring 2015

Kullez was the final cumulative project for IPD 501: Advanced CAD/CAM/CAE. Featuring two brushless motors, an independent suspension system developed by the team, custom machined wheels to fit the treads, a carbon fiber bottom shell and thermoformed top cover. This entire project was designed and manufactured by a team of 9 mechanical engineering students over the course of 5 weeks. Through multiple late nights of research, SolidWorks, SolidCAM, prototyping, design reviews, FEA, and materials selection, we were able to create our final vehicle which actually worked the very first time we tested it.
